5 oz Kent Goldings

Yeast:
Wyeast 1056 American Ale Yeast smack pack

Process:
  • Mashed at 158F for 75 minutes
  • Sparged with 4 gals water at 170F
  • Boiled 120 minutes with one hops addition as noted
  • Chilled
  • Brought volume to 5 gals with fresh water in 7 gallon plastic fermenter
  • Pitched yeast

21 Sept AM - no sign of fermentation
22 Sept AM - very slow bubbling at fermentation lock
