Ingredients:
           
Malt 1:
3 kilograms Munton Extra Light Unhopped malt extract (syrup)

Hops 1:
1.5 oz Saaz
Alpha:
3.5%
Time:
30 minutes
Hops 2:
0.5 oz Saaz
Alpha:
3.5%
Time:
5 minutes

Yeast:
1 pkt Wyeast #2042 Danish Lager Yeast - liquid culture

Process:

Bring water to boil. Turn off heat and add malt extracts. Boil for one hour, making hop additions according to schedule above. At end of boil, add water to make 5 gallons. Cool and pitch yeast.

This beer was fermented in a refrigerator with the temperature set to 40 degrees Farenheit (a thermometer was used to monitor this temperature). Fermentation took several months, hence the name.
